Beats 1 is under the Apple Music umbrella. Apple Music is a music streaming service, developed by Apple Inc. How it works is users select music to stream to their device on-demand, or they can listen to existing, curated playlists.

The service also includes the Internet radio station Beats 1, led by DJ Zane Lowe, that broadcasts live to over 100 countries 24 hours a day, and the blog platform Connect, that allows artists to share their posts, photos, videos, and tracks with subscribers.

Some artist on this station include: Dj Khalid, Dr. Dre, Drake, Q-Tip and Mary J. Blige.

He caught the attention of The Loud Speakers Network’s podcast hosts and on 8 January 2015 he appeared on an episode of Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz’s The Brilliant Idiots podcast.

Another podcast host on the network, Kid Fury, had also recommended him to the network’s bosses Combat Jack and Chris Morrow which led him to land his own podcast Tax Season.
