Angel Haze (Bio-Wiki)

Angel Haze was born Raee’n Wahya in July 1991 in Michigan. She grew up in Springfield Virginia, and now resides in New York.

She is an up and coming female rapper who is signed to Universal Republic and Island, and for the past two years she’s been able to turn a childhood hobby of writing poems and ryhmes into a full fledged career. Angel has been making waves in hip hop since 2009 and her biggest splash came most recently when she was signed to Universal Music Group, becoming their newest artist to date.

She’s been featured on several music blogs and websites, such as: Pitchfork, Complex.com, XXL.com, DJBooth.net, MTVIggy.com, TheSource.com, Hot97, UrbanSteez.com Unsigned Hype, HotNewHipHop.com, Pound Magazine, and a feature for TheFader.com. In a short period of time, she already has thousands of fans following her career and continues to build her buzz online. Her songs have presently surpassed the 100,000 mark in downloads, and have over 1,000,000 views on YouTube.

In 2012, she took part in the BET Hip-Hop Award’s Cypher where she showcased her lyrical abilities and gained more exposure for herself. Continue to look out for this young rising star, she might be the next best thing.
