Chance The Rapper To Release New Album As Surprise

Chance The Rapper recently sat down with fellow Chicago native and comedian Hanibal Buress to conduct and Interview for Interview Magazine. Chance is set to release his new album “Surf” sometime this year, and says that he may release it as a surprise. This is in similar fashion to how Beyonce` released her self entitled album back in late 2013.

“The album is very much so a Beyoncé kind of thing. I can’t say the date of the project, but I can say that it’s super dope.” Says the Chicago rapper.

Chance also shared in the interview that he auditioned for the role of Dr. Dre in the upcoming N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Unfortunately for the rapper, he says “It wasn’t in God’s plan.” We’ll continue to keep our eyes peeled for his new album and see how much of an impact his surprise release will have on fans.
