Crystal Seth

Born in Pittsburgh, PA Seth Goldsmith, better known by Crystal Seth, grew up in a family with deep passion music and his mother also being a published poet.

During Seth’s younger ages he grew up in Squirrel Hill then moved to the suburbs of Pittsburgh when he was in middle school.

While living in the city Seth hung around other Pittsburgh rappers such as Mac Miller when he was a member of the Ill Spoken with Pittsburgh hip hop artist Beedie. Inspired by other artists namely Big L, Wu Tang Clan, Jay-Z, BZE, and the movie The Warriors, Seth started writing raps when he was in high school. Despite the doubt of his peers Crystal Seth played his first show opening up for a jam band having a bigger turnout than the main act.

He then went on to win his high school’s battle of the bands, judged by former Pittsburgh Steeler Mike Logan and Pittsburgh’s WDVE radio host Scott Paulsen. After accepting his offer to attend Penn State University Seth continued his rap career while juggling college. Over the past three years Crystal Seth has gained a bigger fan base through improvements in his music, forming a team to manage and promote, smoking more gravity bongs, and playing more shows.

He released his first mixtape “Left On Freeport” in October of 2011 along with a few single tracks afterwards. He has played shows around Pennsylvania and Ohio having his own shows and opening up for artists such as Nappy Roots, Bubba Sparxxx and Action Bronson.

Seth is itchy to get out of college in order to be able to focus more on his music career. He has upcoming projects coming out this summer with some seriously excitingly dope tracks. Keep a look out for this young artist because he has been doing some interesting things while improving his music daily.
