Floet: The Urban Poet

Born In Guyana, Brooklyn raised- Phil Edwards better known as Floet: The Urban Poet has struck local fame at his College.

Recently finishing a compilation mix-tape “Fang Gang Presents: Into The Wild Collaboration Tape” Host by his camp “Fang Gang”, the tape features him and a variety of talented artist who he has worked with in the past year. Now moving onto his solo project, the development of the third installment of his N.O.O.E Conscious Living is nearly done.

Versatile to say the least, his smooth sound and clever word play is worth listening to again and again. Each song reveals different aspects of the Brooklyn native. From songs Like “Escape” to “Eat The World”, it is without question he has talent and continues to evolve as an artist, rhyming and altering his sound on different tracks to attract all listeners. It will be worth the time to check out his musical skills as they develop. Floet the Urban Poet is without a doubt up and coming.
