J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive Goes Platinum

The news has just broke that one of Roc Nation’s top talent J. Cole’s third album, Forest Hills Drive, has earned the platinum status, reaching one million albums sold.

The North Carolina emcee released the project in December of 2014 and it debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. In this week’s album sales, the album sits at the #27 spot and is the fifth Rap album on the chart.

J. Cole’s other two albums, 2011’s Cole World: The Sideline Story and 2013’s Born Sinner, are both certified gold. these are huge accomplishments for Cole, and we will continue to watch him a he grows and mature as a rapper, which will only lead to more accolades.
