Jay Z’s Music Streaming Company Making Global Expansion

tidal-music-streamingJay Z’s music & video stream service TIDAL is currently on an international expansion. The rap mogul’s company announced today that it’s now live in 31 countries, including markets across Europe, north America and South Africa.

The company also has plans to make further extension into six other global markets — Poland, Australia, Hong Kong, Quatar, United Arab Emirates and Germany before the end of the second quarter.

Jay – Z’s corporate structure S. Carter Enterprises purchased TIDAL following a $56.2 million bid on Jan. 30 2015 (the offer was accepted on March 10, 2015). The firm announced earlier this week it had fully integrated the Norwegian music platform WiMP, and the official TIDAL launch is expected to take place March 30.
