lil wayne suite cahs moneyEarlier this month Lil’ Wayne surprised his fans and the hip hop world when he tweeted that he wanted off Cash Money Records! What was even more surprising was when he filed a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money over unpaid advances and them choosing to delay the release of the Tha Carter V.

Lil Wayne has finally broken his silence about the whole Cash Money fiasco. In an interview with Rolling Stone, yesterday Weezy said that him and Birdman are still on bad terms and that he’s numb to the whole situation. “I have no words,” he said. “I’m super-numb to it, to tell you the truth.”

Lil Wayne also confirmed that Tha Carter V is done and it’s ready to be released. “It’s super-done,” he said. “Cake baked, icing on top, name on top, candles lit. I would have released it yesterday if I could. But it’s a dead subject right now. It’s a jewel in the safe. It’s that stash-house money.” Says the Rap giant.

Earlier this month, Wayne stirred up his fans even more with excitement when he revealed via Twitter that he would be dropping a free project “The Free Weezy Album,” to keep fans satisfied until the wait for The Carter V is over. The album is set to be released in March.

“I’m working on it every day, man,” said the 32-year-old. “I guarantee it’s going to be something dope. If you don’t want a musician being creative, don’t get The Free Weezy Album.”
