Logic (The Rapper)

Louis Logic (Born, Louis Dorley) is a 22 year old underground rapper from New York City.

He said he was first exposed to rap when he heard U.F.T.O’s “Roxane Roxane.” And in his teen years fell more into rap when he learned about Wu-tang Clan.

Up to this day he says that most of his hip hop inspirations are artists from the 90’s like: Nas, Wu-Tang, Big L, and Jay-Z just to name a few. Logic says he fell in love with hip hop from that era, and when you listen to his music you can tell it has that 90’s hip hop vibe to it, and that’s something he says is intentional.

A Louis Logic’s solo career took off in 2003 with the release of Sin-A-Matic, which was met with critical acclaim and widespread underground success. Since then he has released several solo albums and also collaborative albums under the group name “The Odd Couple” with his friend Jay Love.

Even though when you listen to logic you may instantly compare him to J.Cole or drake because of the similarities in their voices, but other than that this kid is straight lyrical. Logic is currently working on a new album and it will be great to see what he has in store for us hip hop heads!
