Hardcore hip-hop group, Madbeast releases debut album, Vulture. The hardcore hip-hop, New York based rap, group Madbeast released their first album this month titled Vulture.

With a sound that creates a genre all of it’s own, the hip-hop group is gaining momentum and hopes to reach audiences nationwide. The album which features well known underground hip-hop artist, Diabolic and upcoming rapper Big Bizz, was recorded by one of the group’s own members Jay Bernard at Next Millennium Studios in New York, NY.

Jay Bernard and Doug Galiardo started collaborating in 2009 as a musical group that used live instruments. However, soon after they were pulled in another direction. Together, they formed Madbeast, a rap group that uses original beats produced by the group members themselves. The group also features the vocal talents of Bryan Meritts, which add a soulful and rich sound to the album. With influences such as classic hip hop artists DJ Premiere, Pete Rock, Easy Mo Bee, Biggie, Tupac and current rappers Vinny Paz, Immortal Technique, and Diabolic, as well as artists from rock, metal, and jazz, it’s no wonder that the album sounds completely unique.

Their goal is to produce music that has meaning. Madbeast formed in rejection of the mainstream rap culture, which often appears disconnected from real life issues. With lyrics that discuss drug addiction, relationship issues, fear of death, problems with over privileged suburban culture, and the hypocrisy and irony of commercial hip-hop, Madbeast writes about their everyday realities.
