Really glad I found this video. I’ve been collecting disco 12″s for a few years now and it’s time to get choppin em up and slowing them down. I’ve been overwhelmed with what technology to use and Maschine has been highly recommended. After watching you work I’m sold. Can I ask you, where do you mix down? Do you track in to Protools or something similar? Or do you do it all in the Maschine software?

Whats up Iiennto. I actually mixdown into Studio One2 from Presonus. I been off the pro-tools team for years. Some things I just mix in maschine…but its always a bit better to track out. I am sure in the future that NI will make it so we don’t have to leave the maschine environment.. but that’s not now

I never did like sampling. I like when a producer creates a beat from scratch, I think it’s more creative and innovative that way…just sayin
