Pro Tools 10 Tutorial: Session Set Up

Pro Tools is an amazing software that allows you to edit your music. It is widely used to record and edit in music production, film scoring, film, and television post production.

As far as up and coming producers go a lot of them want to venture into learning how to record artists and mix and master the recorded song afterwards. In wanting to learn how to edit compositions they search the market to find one that best suites their needs.

What you should know is that just about every music software can not only provide you with a platform to create beats, but can lso provide you with tools to record and edit music. However, in my opinion the only difference is the quality when recording with Pro Tools and the different functions Pro Tools comes with is far superior that any other music software out there.

And I have edited with Cubase, FL Studio, and Reason and they don’t compare to Pro Tools. I’m not saying that they’re horrible music editing software because they’re far from it. These software are amazing to produce beats on and edit in, but Pro Tools is superior to all of them. Just in my opinion.

So for those of you who want to try out Pro Tools to see if the software fits their needs as a producer, they can do so by going to Pro Tools 10 for their 30 day free trail. For those of you who are trying out Pro Tools for the first time and don’t know how to do a basic set up I have placed two videos in this post to help you get started. you should also look into the Music Production Tutorial archives on this site because their are many tutorials on Pro Tools.

Stay focus and remember to have fun with the software!
