Brixx Belvy Vs. TSU Surf

This battle was hosted again by Da Jungle and it was a match between an up an comer named Brixx Belvy vs. a top 5 battle rapper on Smack DVD named Tsu Surf.

This was a hot one and both of these rappers came very strong with their delivery and punch lines.

Overall the battle was really good. In terms of delivery, flow, and consistent punchlines I think they both displayed it well. But in terms of lyrical skills, wordplay (especially when he made that Jaden/will smith reference) and technique I think that Tsu Surf won this rap battle. He just came straight nasty, and that’s not to take anything away from Brixx, because he definitely held it down, but TSU Surf being the vet that he is just showed more lyricism and experience over Brixx.

Surf has more experience than Brixx and it just showed in this battle, and his lines were really clever had me rewinding the video back from the beginning to re listen to his part of the battle lol. It was that good. I have to say that both of these guy’s do have a future as battle rappers, and I hope that they continue to battle because battle rap definitely needs these to mc’s.
