Eness Vs. Arsonel

Here is another epic rap battle that was hosted by Gunline Battle Grounds.

This classic rap battle was between two rappers that are veterans of the rap battle scene which are Arsonel from New Jersey, and Eness From Philly.

I really enjoyed watching this one as a fan of both of these mc’s, and hope to see them battle again in the future. And knowing them they will if the money is right.

Overall they both gave an amazing performance. In the first round of this battle Eness brought the heat to Arsonel. He was just on fire, he had a little bit of flow going, and the crowd responded to it in a major way. Arsonel did come with some punch lines, and he did screw up a bit and the crowd sort of attacked him for that, but he was still able to bounce back into things.

When you spit your rap battle lines have to be on point, and you also have to stay focused because if you slip up a bit the audience will get at you. I think Eness won the first round because he executed his rap battle lyrics better than Arsonel did. Second round I also give to Ness but there was one thing I didn’t like, and that was when Eness was spittin his second verse how it sounded like he was rapping over a beat. I think it’s whack when battle rappers do that. I know all these rappers write their battles before they come out and battle each other, but damn don’t make it obvious that you wrote it!

Eness has a tendency to get into a flow where it sounds like he’s rhyming on a song, instead of rhyming in a rap battle format. That needs to stop, but I gave the second round to Ness cause his bars where more nice than Arsonel’s and he had more energy. I gave the third round to both of them because they both came hard with it. And I gave the final round to Arsonel, even though the crowd interrupted him several times and wouldn’t let him finish the way he wanted to I still think he held it down.
