Rap Battle: Math Hoffa Vs. T-Rex

This was another solid rap battle that was hosted by URL (Ultimate Rap League) who is always known to put on crazy rap battle bouts.

In this bout we had Math Hoffa From Brooklyn, NY Vs. T-Rex from Harlem, NY. Both mc’s are known for dropping crazy punchlines and are both skilled lyrically.

I gave the first round to T-Rex because all his lines were on point and really got more responses from the crowd when he was rapping than Math did. As for Math he wasn’t saying much in the first round, I guess he was just warming up because in the second round he killed it, even switched up to a Jamaican accent for a bit just to style on T-Rex! lol that’s crazy! I give the second round to Math Hoffa.

The last round I gave to Math Hoffa! Rex had some good reference lines including the KRS – MC Shan Line, but I think that because he brought his crew with him they gassed him up and was cheering for him even when he was spittin a few lines that made no sense. Having your friends cheer for you on every line is not how you win a battle, this doesn’t take anything away from the lines that Rex gave, but in my opinion Math Hoffa just came harder, had more punchlines, and was more verbally aggressive in the last round.

He even added a little comedy with that “what’s that shit on the side of your face” line. And continues “is it a bump, is it a tumor that won’t go away? Can it talk, does it talk to you well what does it say?” Straight HILARIOUS! lol had me rollin.

So Math Hoffa is my winner for this much anticipated hip hop battle.
