Lil Durk’s Record Label

Durk Derrick Banks who goes by the stage name of Lil Durk is an American rapper from Chicago Illinois. Durk garnered much attention and status following the 2013 release of his debut mixtape entitled “Signed to the Streets”.

It was hosted by the infamous DJ Drama and featured producers such as Zaytoven, Young Chop, Dree The Drummer, and Chase Davis.

The mixtape was such a huge success that it lead to a major record label partnership deal with Def Jam Recordings.

Back in 2010 when Lil Durk began his career he formed a record label called OTF, which stands for Only The Family. Earlier on in Durk’s career his label was heavily affiliated with fellow Chicago native Chief Keef, and his label Gory Boyz Entertainment.

What Label is Lil Durk Signed To In 2021

In 2018 Lil Durk left Def Jam Recordings after stating having arguments with his record label over creative differences. He then shortly signed to Alamo Records which is under the Interscope Records umbrella.

“I went somewhere that made me feel like I was a top priority; a place that needed me just as much as I needed them. Since the beginning of the discussions with Todd, Shari, Joie, Nigel and the people over Alamo and Interscope, they made me feel that way,” says Durk.

Lil Durk is still signed to Alamo Records and is happy with the projects he’s released on the label. So far it looks like he will continue to be on the label and continue building artist under his label OTF.
