Josh and Julio The Poet’s – Brotherhood (EP)

Josh and Julio The Poet sat one seat apart from each other in their freshman math class at UNCG and never even spoke to each other; completely oblivious to the fact that they’d one day come together to form one of the best rap groups in music history. Later on they became friends and because of their similar taste in hip-hop, Josh reached out to Julio The Poet in 2012 for what would become a collaborative EP titled “White Noise”.

During the period they worked on White Noise, the two found that they shared similar views on life, style and individuality. Through growing and learning together over 2 years, they released their second EP “Brotherhood”. “Brotherhood” created a more in-sync sound for the rap duo. The two artists complement each other and blend together to revive that raw, golden era of hip-hop we all loved so much. Expect solo and group projects coming from each artist in the near future.
