After releasing “On The Road,” a solid nine track EP, last fall, up and coming Chicago rapper Theo Means is preparing his sophomore EP to hit the ‘net this spring.

Today, he dropped “In Control,” the first single off of the upcoming project of the same name. On “In Control,” Theo glides over lush production from frequent collaborator k-iLL, whose slippery beat provides the backdrop for some snapping rhymes and sharp punchlines.

The hook is catchy and bouncy and pulls the song together as Theo describes his trek to establish himself on the Chicago hip hop landscape.
