16 Knapper

16 Knapper (16 Buttons) is a beat producer from Bergen, Norway. Armed with his beloved MPC, his father’s and personal records, 16 Knapper is on a quest to remind the digital youth about the old, dusty, vinyl past.Producing a variety of rhythms and sounds in the Hip-Hop genre, listeners are introduced to a puzzle of instruments from their parents’ favorite songs. The combination of genres such as rock, pop and soul to name a few, are well mixed together, making it difficult to predict the outcome of the next project.

Welcome to a sound where anything can happen. 16 Knapper explains that his short term goal is to get respect as an up an coming producer, and to make a living doing what he loves. “It’s a cliche, but a dream come true is to be able to live from making music, that’s the long term goal. Short term goals are just being heard and getting props. I think I need to let people know that I exist. I have lived in my own shadow for far too long it seems sometimes.” We will follow and continue to support 16 Knapper on his journey to becoming a recognized producer and if he continues to work hard enough and make the right connections, he will definitely get recognition for his craft, and start charging thousands for it.
