Bee Lee The M.C.

beeleethemcjpgHailing from the southeast streets of our dangerously deceptive nation’s capitol, Washington D.C., Brian Lee, better known as Bee Lee the M.C. is a driven, passionate and charismatic artist with his own unique spin on hip-hop that touches on the very real topics of poverty, greed, drug abuse, alcoholism, sexual promiscuity, narcissism, and a life on the edge.

Though the sound is brought to life by tight beats, and lush melodies, it is his in-your-face flow, not unlike influential performers such as Tech N9ne, Three 6 Mafia, Busta Rhymes, and The Game that is turning heads and creating a new buzz.

Bee Lee The M.C. might be a relatively new name on the scene, but he already boasts an impressive list of credits, having worked with international performers the likes of Tabi Bonney, T-Pain, Marcus Canty (of Fox’s X-Factor season 1), Whitefolkz, St. Laz, and DJ Smallz among others. In 2011 he gained considerable popularity with the release of his L.P. Memoirs of a Drug Addict and its Mondo Tunes distributed hit single, “Friends with Benefits.” The second single, “New Kid” featuring longtime partner DCG, and fellow DC native Tabi Bonney debuted on DJ Smallz’ Hot or Not to positive reviews. Recently he has been featured on mixtapes and prominent hip hop site, HotNewHipHop.com as a Heat Seeker.

Currently, he’s busy recording and touring to promote his brand new album, Die: A Gram, due out this winter!
