DeJuan Boyd (Rabbitt Production)

DeJuan Boyd is an Atlanta, Georgia based music producer, global digital music provider and the owner of Rabbitt Productions. Starting out as a DJ in the early 80’s he evolved into a successful music producer for unsigned artists in the 90’s. He cites DJ Toomp & Dr. Dre. as his early musical influences along with DJ greats Jam Master J, Jazzy Jeff and Mixmaster Ice.

In the 90’s DeJuan worked with a musical collective that included DJ Jelly & DJ Jaycee from DTP and toured on the college circuit as the DJ for a group called Global Desperados.Although Rabbitt Productions has its foundation in HipHop culture, its cinematic style works well with uptempo dance and Euro blends. DeJuan’s use of dramatic sounds provides the perfect backdrop to move him from just producing to quenching the unyielding thirst of the rapidly growing digital entertainment market.

After seeing the interest that his son took in production he helped him develop his own sound and style and decided to bring him aboard. Malik Lawton brings Pop, Dance & World flavor to the equation as DeJuan’s roots are more gritty and drum heavy with remnants of old school HipHop.
DeJuan has worked with Down South regional artists such as Lil Raheem, Citi Boi, and a host of others as well as just recently Asia Sparks & Equicez from Norway. Currently they are working with two new MC’s soon to change the direction of ATL HipHop…Mr. Wynn and T Moe. Since 2008, he has remotely engineered the streaming radio show and podcast for the New York City based Sai Browne Morning Show. Born and raised in the South, DeJuan will always call the ATL home.
