J. Fly

imahgeJ Fly learned from an early age he had to make things happen for himself. Whether it was selling candy bars or water on Stoney Island; hustling in the streets of south side Chicago, or doing what he needed to do in Minneapolis. J Fly learned he had to make moves for himself in order to move up in the world.

In the beginning of his career J Fly worked with Affiliated Music Group out of Chicago. Then he got into some trouble. He chose a path where he found himself in prison for some time which took him out of the rap scene. In prison he focused himself on his rap career and wrote over two books of songs. When he was released he started grinding them out.

Through his lyrics you can feel the struggles and triumphs he has gone through in his life. He is able to draw off of his own life experiences and put them into words. By painting a picture and telling his life story through his music you are able to share in his life.
