Forgotten Pharaoh is the freshman project from the up & coming New York artist Jay Royce.

At first listen you would probably mistake this mixtape for an album, the attention to detail is obvious on this project, Royce shows off his lyricism on every track and shows why he could soon be one of the go to names in not just NY but the rap game itself.

Forgotten Pharaoh also showcases a great selection of instrumentals such as the (Intro) illumination (Produced by Modstep), Love & War which is sampled from The Weeknd’s (Wicked Games) and what will surely be NY’s newest anthem Hometown (Music De New York) in which Royce took the Adele sampled beat that had already been blessed by the likes of Big Krit & Big Sean and made it all his own. All and all Forgotten Pharaoh is a solid freshman project that is definitely worthy of a listen.
