Jerome Kyng – Mayhem On The Block (Drill Album)
Super producer Jerome Kyng is gearing up to release yet another album by the end of this year entitled “Mayhem on the Block”. This instrumental album will be based around the popular subgenre of Drill music.
When asked why he chose to make an instrumental album based on drill music he said “I’ve been creating drill beats since 2015, and I create it not to promote violence, but to showcase the artistic elements of this type of sound,” he goes on to say “Creating drill beats is a creative artistic thing for me, I love the dark sounds and the drum patterns, I want people to enjoy the unique sounds as much as I do.”
Once Mayhem on the Block is completed it will officially be Jerome’s sixth instrumental album, and fourth release of this year. When we inquired about what his inspiration was for releasing four albums in 2020 he said “I think for sure it had to be because of the pandemic. As a music producer I’ve mostly stayed home to create beats, and went out once in a while with friends or family. Now that we’re in a pandemic everything is closed so I’m at home a lot more, and taking this great opportunity to create and release even more music.”
