Joshua R. Monroe, ASCAP (Born Nov. 3, 1993), J Mo, is a native of the city of Youngstown, OH. Because of his large musical repertoire, J Mo can provide a wide range of styles that will cater to the emotion of the venue of performance.

He is an expressive character who allows his passion to flow into his music. J Mo focuses on Hip-Hop, R&B, Classical Piano, and Jazz Piano. J Mo has acquired over 10 years of piano experience through home training and performances (competitions, clubs, and churches ).

J Mo is a lively and persistent writing composer who, since the age of 14, has written and produced over 100 Hip-Hop songs, and 10 mix-tapes. His quick-wit, reliability, and easy-going attitude makes him the ideal partner for collaborative tracks.

With his daughter and family motivating him, J Mo ambition towards his music grows everyday. Progress as a college student and and a musician go hand in hand he learns the lessons of life, which directly contributes to his music.
