Kendrick Lamar To Perform At The John F. Kennedy Center

Compton rap superstar Kendrick Lamar is heading to Washington, DC to participate in a rare achievement for a Hip Hop artist. The TDE emcee is scheduled to perform at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Kendrick will be performing cuts from his most recent album “To Pimp A Butterfly.” Lamar will be back by Washington’s National Symphony Orchestra.

Previously, Hip Hop artists tp perform at the Kennedy Center are Nas, Lauryn Hill, MC Lyte, and Jean Grae; as part of the “One Mic: Hip-Hop Culture Worldwide” festival in 2014.
