Les Blesd

LeS Blesd is a new world artist who is building a buzz around the globe in the hip hop scene, one song at a time.   He  was Born Lester “Doneal”  Bourage Jr.  in Meridian, Mississippi,  but moved to the west coast for a better life.  Les Blesed  knew from the age of thirteen that he wanted to become a rapper. He was surrounded by music his whole life, always bought the latest rap Cd’s, and even rapped and beat boxed through out high school with his friends.

After graduating at the early age of 16 and earning a college scholarship,  Les Blesd immediately enrolled at the Musician’s Institute for Recording and Audio-Engineering  to learn the basics of recording and sound engineering.

Les Blesd’s life hasn’t been a fairy tale,  like most rappers he has encountered many hardship on his way to success. Everything from his mother getting into an unfortunate accident, forcing him to work two jobs to take care of her and his little sister.  To his long time best friend being slain while protecting his girlfriend from an attacton their way to a night club.  Dispite the pain and misfortune in his life,  Les Blesd did what any strong willed person would do, and that’s  take their troubles and frustration, and turned it into to passion.

He got on his grind and focused more on his music, because he knew that his music held the key to becoming successful;  making life a little more easier on him and his family.   Since then he has worked with legendary engineers and producers such as: Kenny McCloud of Blackhole Studios, has won numerous showcases, and has received praise from the likes of Duke Montana, Suga Free, Freck the Billionaire and Medusa. Just to name a few.

After releasing his street single “Cut the Check” a track he rapped and produced, he went on to produce his first mixtape hosted by Bad Boy Record’s Monica and 112’s tour DJ Siza. He would shortly earn a trip to Italy to do his first Major artist collaboration and big production music video for his newly recorded international single “Brace Yourself”. Since his return to America he has kept his momentum going by workinig with major industry producers such as Andre “Dre” Knight and Superstar O who will work with him to create a fresh unique sound that music lovers will appreciate.  If ever there was an artist who was truly dedicated and passionate enough to prove he was worth his weight in gold, it would have to be this unsigned diamond from the slumbs of Mississippi.  The industry definitely needs to prepare to be amazed by this new found  starchild of hip hop.
