Peter Jay

Pedro Rolle, also known as PeterJay, is a Miami-based music producer and rapper. Born in the Bahamas and growing up in both Miami and Nassau, he was introduced to music at an early age, excelling in the classics and mastering the art of composition.

PeterJay, spent the better part of his high school years freestying in classrooms or in the school yard. Most of the beats he and his friends freestyled to was produced by PeterJay using Fruity Loops. He later fell in love with the art of lyricism and entered “Text-Cee Battles”; where M.C.’s wrote battle verses and competed against each other. Judged based on punchlines, technique, multi-syllables and wordplay, he quickly became well known in battle tournaments. It was here that his love for music was cemented in the proverbial stone.

After spending three years in Mexico, PeterJay moved to Kendall, Miami where he spent all of his summers growing up. He connected with fellow Producer/Artist Final Second and Engineer DeeJay Twin to produce his first mixtape, “Nice To Meet You”, which garnered favorable reviews. It gave him an opportunity to work with artists such as IMAGERI, 2EaZy, Juve and many more.

Since then, PeterJay has co-founded his own Record Label “Dirty Vinyl Entertainment” and released his debut LP “Mics and Pipe Dreams” available for download on www.PeterJayMusic.com andwww.DirtyVinylEntertainment.com. He has had the opportunity to colalborate with and produce for many Miami artists including Final Second, LaGuardia, Saheed, LMS and Kaaren Alise.

Always improving and gaining ground toward achieving his musical goals, PeterJay hopes to share his music with those willing to listen. There’s always more music on the way from PeterJay and his Dirty Vinyl affiliates!
