Pharrell Williams Unveils Poster For The Movie “DOPE”

Pharrell Williams unveiled today the official poster for the movie Dope; which he is executive producing. The movie first premiered at the 2015 Sundance Festival, and later was bought by Open Road Films and Sony. The story surroundsa character named Malcolm who is a geek, carefully surviving life in The Bottoms, a tough neighborhood in Inglewood, CA filled gangsters and drugs dealers, while juggling his senior year of college applications, interviews and the SAT. His dream is to attend Harvard. A chance invitation to a big underground party leads Malcolm and his friends into a, only in Los Angeles, gritty adventure filed with offbeat characters and bad choices. If Malcolm can persevere, he’ll go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.

The cast features a number of stars, including A$AP Rocky, Chanel Iman, Toni Revolori, Zoe Kravitz, Kiersey Clemons and Blake Anderson. Dope hits theaters on June 19.
