If you are looking for a fun energetic group to hit you with the Truth and keep it Hip-Hop…look no further! You have just found Poor Legacy the Live /Hip-Hop/Gospel/Neo-Soul band! They are a band that originated in City of Waterbury, CT at a great house of God called House of Joy & Praise! POOR LEG.A.CY which derives from 2 Corinthians 8:9 stands for: For you know the grace of our lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.

They formed in 2001 while two of the band members were still in high school. Together with the creativeness they have been blessed with to write and compose original music, under “Poor Legacy Productions” they are a force. 2004 GospelFest Finalist; they have already played one of the world’s greatest venues…Madison Square Garden! (and Rock’d it with bad microphones!) After years of molding their gifts and (never-mind a theft of music tracks and band equipment), they are finally set to release their first recorded full length album on 5-31-11.
