When RappaSharpp was 18, Jay-Z told him “You need more determination”. Since then he has focused his talents on building his brand as a Rap Artist, Singer, Actor, Screenplay Writer, and Model. RS – The BRAND is the Next Big Thing! Why?

A Long Island New York native, Jermel Howard, RappaSharpp continues to be a shining star to his community. With unyielding determination, RappaSharpp’s life’s struggles continue to be reflected in his music and artistry.

His brand, RappaSharpp, whose name is synonymous with musical talent having won contests and shows in 30 out of 50 states including the Infamous Floss Inc’s Ski Weekends with Trey Songz, Oshy (Bird Gang), 106 & Park, The Secret Open MIC contest with Rah Digga, The 50 Mics Tournament 2 @ Spot Light, The Spy Night Club Event, Sabor Lounge (Atlanta) and Harlem Lanes Toy and Clothes Drive Charity Event.

In 2007, Sharpp collaborated with Fat Joe on his single “Oh My Goodness” featured on The Wendy Williams show on 107.5 WBLS, The Miss Jones Show on Hot 97 and in rotation on 14 radio stations along with DJ Kay Slay. His most recent collaboration was with Cheri Dennis of Bad Boy, the song, “The Stage” Additionally, Sharpp’s song “Make It Clap” (Rakim Version) has been in rotation on major radio stations throughout the tri-state area.

As a model and actor, he has excelled, in 2006; Sharpp was the poster boy for Ackademiks clothing line appearing in a variety of major magazines such as Vibe, The Source, XXL and on Billboards throughout the tri-state area and MTA system. In February 2009, Sharpp was featured in a Sprint commercial, which aired nationwide. Recently, Sharpp has also participated in traditional movie roles alongside actors such as Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington in “American Gangster”(2008, the extended version), Jodie Foster and Terence Howard in “The Brave One” (2008) and also landing a role as the legendary “Eric B” in the Wendy Williams movie “Queen of Media” scheduled for released in 2011.
