Rick Ross Searches For New Talent To Sign To MMG

Last night (Feb. 16, 2015), Maybach Music Group head honcho Rick Ross made his way to Atlanta to announce his new partnership venture with Dina Marto, the founder of Twelve Music Group. The new partnership will launch ‘Artists First’, which is a platform to search for and develop new artists, producers and writer under the MMG label/Twelve Music Group branch.

“This is the new home for Maybach Music,” says Marto. “Their artists will be recording here. Executives will have offices here, so they can get work done while they’re in the city of Atlanta.”

Marto is a well accomplished person within the music industry. She previously worked with L.A. Reid and Shakir Stewart as an A&R coordinator at Island Def Jam. She also played an integral part in developing the careers of Rick Ross and Young Jeezy.
