I’m here sharing another artist with you all. I actually stumbled upon this rap artist about a year ago and ever since then I been hooked. This artist’s name is none other than Sugar Tongue Slim (STS) and he has really been on killin’ the underground rap scene for a few years now, but most of you have probably never heard of him.

Sugar Tongue Slim actually got his start back in March 2005 when he was one of the co-writers of the song “Oh” which we was sung by R&B sensation Ciara! Slim who was born in Atlanta but moved to Philadelphia back in 2000 to develop his career, has gained the respect from many of his industry peers.

He has been featured on many prominent urban music websites such as: allhiphop.com, complex.com, 2DopeBoys.com, and NahRight.com. He has been on MTV2’s Sucker Free Sunday where he was the lead act for XXL Magazine’s Show & Prove. And he also has acclaimed collaborations with artist such as Nas, Lloyd, Mario, Eve, and Jill Scott, just to name a few.

Sugar Tongue Slim has a very distinct sound, he has a southern flow and swag, but his lyrics have that east coast feel to it. This is what makes him so intriguing and sought after for features by some of the well known artists of today.

Sugar Tongue Slim (STS) continues to set off sold out shows for acts such as Travis Barker, B.O.B, YelaWolf and The Roots among others. And I think that he has great delivery, his flow is on point, and he definitely portrays lyrical skills when he raps. He is definitely an artist you should have bumpin in your Iphones!
