The Gardeners of Eden

The Gardeners of Eden’ a Hip–Hop group of talented artists from Newcastle KZN, currently based in Jo’burg.

The group consists of 3 rappers; “Platinum-Punchliner” “VIsto” & “Alien

Two Producers; “MraleFin” & “AudioBanger”

And a female poet; “Kay”

Our music is inspired by our daily life experiences of which most people can relate too and is fused with witty word play, strong lyrical content and as well as catchy hooks on fresh vibrant beats.

We are currently working on finishing the recordings of our first full length release, the    self-titled ‘Sick-Tape©’ The Gardeners of Eden which will be released independently. Since everyone is currently doing mixtapes we’ve decided to do the 1st ever ‘Sick-Tape©’ marking a new area in Hip Hop. The release date of the 15 track offering will be announced at a later stage…

We have two singles out which we are currently promoting; Streets of Eden & Till The Sun Come Down which where both produced in-house. Both singles are included in our promotion cd; The Promo Tape is us promoting ourselves, our musical abilities, our uniquely fresh distinct sound, our strong lyrical content and the high quality standard of our work.

The video for our 1st official single Streets of Eden was shot in Sunnyside PTA by Lerato “Stuff” Thsabalala.

Having mastered our craft, our mission is to take our music to a national audience and compete if not outdo every hip hop act that’s hot right now. THE JIG IS UP…….
