The Greatest Rappers of All Time

I have compiled a video list of who I think are the greatest Mc’s of all time. The list was compiled based on rhyming skills, technique, lyricism, flow, delivery, and the ability to rock the crowd.

These are the components a great mc is comprised of and makes them an individual who will be talked about for centuries to come.

These rappers have put together some of the greatest rap songs ever, and with out a doubt have created a few classic albums that have went on to sell millions all over the world! These greatest rappers of all time have paved the way for the younger rappers to come in and create music, and earn lots of money to provide for themselves and their family. So it’s always important that these new rappers respect and acknowledge the rappers on this video list.

The state of hip hop today is pretty good despite what some might think of the music that’s being put out today. A lot of people are upset that most of the rappers that are out now are only talking about cars, money, booty shakin, jewelry, and shooting up each other. Most are saying hip hop is supposed to be about creativity, intelligent rhymes, and lyrical skills.

But what I say to them is that hip hop has evolved in a sense, and these young rappers only know how to rap about what they see in their environments and also rap about what their favorite rappers are portraying on tv. What they glorify is a reflection of what society and the media shows them it’s okay to glorify…think about that!

Also if you have a problem with what types of songs rappers are coming out with now a days, just don’t support it and watch what happens! These rappers will change their style and start trying to produce better quality music. I know for a fact that most these rappers out today will never be on any top rappers of all time list, or be in any top ten rap albums of all times list either. But again, if we want all that to change, we as consumers need to support real hip hop which appreciates the core essence and culture of hip hop.

The future of hip hop has so much potential to blossom into something that’s innovative and fresh, and with the rise of rappers like J-Cole, J-Electronica, B.O.B, Locksmith, Phil Ade` and a few others, things are looking pretty good for rap. Rap always needs balance to stay relevant and fresh, and we as consumers can keep it that way only by supporting music that has meaning and is of great quality!

Any how here is my official list of the greatest mcs of all time, or the greatest rappers of all time, however you want to say it.
