Tyga’s Relationships Are Out Of Control

Lately, the biggest news out of the Jenner-Kardashian clan has been the stunning reveal of Bruce Jenner’s gender transition and public emergence as Caitlyn Jenner. Having already been a controversial and, to many, inspirational figure through her public reveal, Caitlyn Jenner became something of a sensation when she won the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs and gave a pretty incredible acceptance speech.

But with the ESPYs now behind us, it seems that the unstoppable Jenner-Kardashian news cycle is turning slowly toward young Kylie Jenner. In particular, it’s all about her relationship with hip-hop artist Tyga that appears to be going off the rails. Ironically enough, this is partially due to rumors concerning another transgender public figure, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

First, it’s worth pointing out that what might seem like a fling between the 17-year-old Jenner and 25-year-old rapper is apparently pretty damn serious. According to recent reports based on excerpts from the upcoming reality show I Am Cait (an inside look at the Caitlyn Jenner transition and how the family handled it), Kylie recently joked with Caitlyn about the possibility of marrying Tyga in the near future. It sounds as if the scene comes off as being pretty light and harmless, but it also comes on the heels of existing rumors that Tyga and Kylie have discussed marrying as soon as she turns 18.

Depending on how you view that sort of thing, that may seem a little radical to begin with. But when you consider some of the other rumors swirling around these two of late—and the fact that Tyga seems slightly out of control with his relationships—the idea that these two could tie the knot soon is ludicrous.

The first obvious sign of trouble is that there have been persistent cheating rumors concerning Tyga’s alleged activity with transgender actress Mia Isabella. Best known for a stint on Sons Of Anarchy, Isabella is said to have been involved with Tyga for a period of as long as three years, with the main allegation concerning some screenshots of text messages between them. For her part, Isabella has responded to the rumors by lamenting the fact that a relationship between a man and a trans woman has to be considered a scandal. That doesn’t exactly sound like a denial. Also, while Isabella certainly has a point in general, she doesn’t seem to have grasped that the “scandal” would be the cheating aspect of the relationship—not the fact that she’s transgender.

But would Tyga really cheat on Kylie Jenner?

There’s obviously no way of knowing the answer to this question with any degree of certainty, but in judging relationships it’s only fair to try to look at celebrities as regular people. And with that in mind, a lot of the most common reasons people cheat would seem to make some sense regarding Tyga’s situation. Survey results reveal that most people cheat due to sexual boredom or loneliness, or because “it just happened.” It’s kind of easy to imagine that dating a 17-year-old whose life is wrapped up in constant media attention and reality shows could get a little boring and lonely, and lead to something “just happening.”

The main issue with that assumption, however, is that Tyga’s relationship issues extend well beyond a rumored affair with Mia Isabella. According to a crazy news story released recently, Tyga also had a hard time letting go of Blac Chyna, with whom he has a son (named King Cairo Stevenson). It’s perfectly normal for the two to be in regular contact given the fact that they’re parents together, but this story takes things a giant, inappropriate step further. Apparently, Tyga may have actually helped Blac Chyna to sneak into Kylie Jenner’s house for no apparent reason. And it gets weirder: rumor has it that once there, Blac Chyna swirled Kylie’s toothbrush around in a toilet; once she left, she started blabbing about how cluttered and unorganized Kylie’s home was.

It’s safe to say the two are feuding publicly now, and to recap the whole situation, here’s what’s going on: Tyga is still dating Kylie Jenner, allegedly with plans to marry her in the near future. Yet he’s also close enough with his ex to seemingly be on both sides of the Kylie-Blac Chyna feud—and he supposedly cheated on both of them with transgender actress Mia Isabella.

He may be an up-and-coming hip-hop star, but Tyga’s relationships are a total mess.
