Criss Lyric

h0VkUAQWith music shifting it’s gears and going in various directions, many fall short in living up to the public’s expectations of creativity and originality.

At the same time there are a handful of new artists pushing the envelope, Criss Lyric being one of them. Hailing from Windsor (CT) one of many towns bordering the capital city of Hartford, Criss Lyric aka “Frass Boss” is keeping it unorthodox yet familiar, while reaching a wide array of audiences through his music.

With production coming from Eric “Zulu” King, Xavier “Aviles”, and Criss providing the vocals, the three come together to form “All Mighty” whose primary focus is to make the music they want to make, while encouraging listeners to live the life they want to live. Since the release of his debut project “The Frame” (July 2010) Criss has released a number of online videos, numerous songs, and other projects such as “Nag Champa” an EP that prepared listeners for “Sumnar: The THC Project” (March 2011) followed by an 11 track EP titled “LOUD:music” (July 2011) where he chose to flow over all Hudson Mohawke instrumentals.

Adding to his artistry, Criss has also been performing at several venues throughout the New England area ( Foxwoods Casino,The Middle East, Toads Place, and more) as well as traveling around the country promoting his sound (most recently, Austin, TX for SXSW and Atlanta for the A3C Hip Hop Festival). Since then, Criss Lyric has been in the studio putting together his most recent opus, “Indian Summer” available here . With no plans of slowing down and showing infinite growth, Criss is carving his own lane in in the world of music, and with creativity being key, Criss has enough of it to open countless doors.
