Daniel Aydlott (The Five 18)

Daniel Aydlott, better known as The Five 18, is a proclaimed music artist from Schenectady, New York. The Five 18 grew up in a suburban setting, yet his childhood is the furthest from “vanilla.” At 12, The Five 18’s parents’ went through a harsh and crushing divorce; causing the loss of his childhood home and his father to skip town with a hundred thousand dollars of his mothers, parents money. Shortly after, The Five 18, began working to ensure food for his family after their fathers desertion. This tragic experience made Daniel a shy, quiet and sturdy rock for his brother, sister, and mother.

Music has been The Five 18’s only outlet. The only way for him to feel secure and feel like he can bring his family back together. Aside from his immediate family, his town and home area code, 518, took him in, showed him his path and molded him in to the artist you hear today. The Five 18’s passion for music burns deep in his heart and soul; he is willingly humbled to walk the longest road to accomplish his dreams. Currently he is unsigned, and is working on his debut EP, “Like Me After.”
