Hip Hop Push Media, LLC was created in 2009 to help market and independent rap artists, producers and dj’s. It’s also a platform that showcases the best in hip hop culture.

Our company provides services that help market and promote new rap artists and producers, and also educates them on different aspects of the music industry; in an effort to help further their careers.

Currently we are looking for a Director of Social Media to oversee and help run all of our social media platforms. You will lead a team of 7 people who are highly experience in social media marketing.

Our social media platforms include:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• Google Plus
• Youtube
• Reddit
• LinkedIn
• Stumble Upon

You’ll also be overseeing our Music Media Platforms and Music Retail Pages which include:

– Soundcloud
– Reverbnation
– Audiomack
– Soundclick
– Itunes
– CdBaby
– Tunecore
– Tidal
– Rhapsody
– Amazon MP3

You Will Be Committed To:

• Partake in weekly conference calls
• Travel to our offices in Toronto and New York
• Meet up with our executive board every 3 months

Requirements for Position

• Experience with social media marketing
• Experience in a management or Director role
• Strong leadership and communications skills
• Ability to drive traffic to our social media pages
• Knowledge on how to set up and successfully run PPC campaigns
• Lead capture and traffic conversion experience
• Ability to understand Google analytics and break down the data in simple terms in a monthly report
• Initiate Inbound marketing strategies to build more traffic and brand awareness
• S.E.O. skills for website and social media content
• Brainstorm and execute video viral techniques with your team
• Experience with online cross branding marketing
• Ability to reach out and collaborate with social media influncers

It’s not necessary but it would be a great asset if you love new age rap. Think Lil Uzi Vert, Tekashi 69, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, NBA Young Boy Etc. If not you have to be willing to embrace this type of music because you are going to be promotion and campaigning music to a younger generation that loves these type of rap artists.
