Top Hip Hop Websites
I’m just creating a quick post as a reply to some of my twitter and facebook followers (mostly rap artists and hip hop producers) who keep asking me to send them a list of quality hip hop websites. Keep in mind, well at least in my opinion, that there are not many good ones. Most of the rap websites show the same content. They all got the same content which is: hip hop gossip, news, music, videos, and hip hop hunnies. Which I’m sure we all love watching!!
There are a few that stand out due to marketing and promoting their brand over the years, thus gaining a huge following. While other rap sites could have amazing content but lack the traffic to their website due to poor promotion.
When I think of real hip hop sites I’m not thinking of hip hop sites that say they’re hip hop sites but their main content features gossip and booty shaking videos. I’m sure you all know which sites I’m talking about so I won’t mention them. When I think real rap websites/blogs I think of dope hip hop music, videos, current music news, and even articles that examine hip hop or things that affect our communities.
And there are only two websites that I can think of that gives their viewers that type of quality content. But for your sake I won’t just list two websites, I will give you a few that I think are okay and let you choose which ones you like and don’t want to f#ck with.
