In these communities manhood is associated with your penis and your sexual prowess. Why? Because in these poor communities you don’t have much.

In a of these neighborhoods you learn to place your value on mundane things because you’re not taught to aspire to want more.

So an emphasis is placed on having a lot of sexual partners, expensive clothes, jewelry, expensive cars, showing off on social media, instead of investing, saving, being sexually responsible, loving each other, pooling our resources, and being financially stable.

Yes, crotch grabbing goes that deep! It’s wrongly taught as asserting your manhood in urban communities and these rappers have brought it from their neighborhoods onto the world stage.
